We sell fridges in Uganda across every size and budget, from a 120-litre unit for a bedsitter to a 328-litre double door for a large family. Everything we stock is genuine, comes with the manufacturer warranty, and is checked and run before it leaves our shop in Katwe.
Choosing a fridge comes down to household size and how you shop. Three to five people shopping weekly are well served by a 190-litre single door. Five to seven people, or anyone buying in bulk, should be looking at a double door. If you are storing meat in quantity or running a business, a freezer alongside the fridge makes more sense than one enormous fridge.
One thing we tell every customer: fit a fridge guard. Voltage drops kill compressors in Uganda far more often than age does, and a guard costs a fraction of a compressor replacement.
